How to apply for a committee appointment
We seek interested volunteers to serve on UEG Boards & Committees. Participation in our boards offers several benefits — you can network with other leading physicians and scientists, make an impact in an area that is important to you and help advance gastroenterological care in Europe.
Potential candidates are nominated by UEG Member Societies and are either elected by the General Assembly or National Societies Forum or appointed to serve as society representatives on one of the committees. There are also independent members, that are appointed on an ad-hoc basis and do not require a nomination from a Member Society.

UEG is committed to reflect today’s professional landscape in its organisational structure and thus we particularly look for input from female and young gastroenterologists who are motivated to work with us.

According to UEG Statutes only candidates supported by a UEG National Member Society can be considered. Elections will be held at the National Societies Forum Meeting, Sunday, October 13, 2013 on occasion of the UEG Week 2013 at the ICC Berlin. Deadline for nomination is September 20, 2013.
