National Societies Committee

The newest member organisations in UEG are the National Societies of Gastroenterology. Until 2011, the National Societies were represented in UEG by ASNEMGE (Association des Sociétés Nationales Européennes et Méditerranéennes de Gastroentérologie) which was a Founding member of UEG.
Transfer of National Society representation in UEG to the National Societies Committee has undoubtedly improved National representation in UEG, with the clear advantage of greater UEG benefits for all the 41 National Societies, which are currently members.
The remit of the National Societies Committee is to maximise communication and strengthen relationships between the National Societies and UEG.
