Awards & Grants

Awards & grants

Each year we present a range of prizes, travel grants and scholarships created to foster basic and clinical research.

Some of these enable young gastroenterologists to come to UEG Week, while others acknowledge exceptional scientific work.

The most prestigious prizes are the UEG Research Prize, worth € 100,000, for the most outstanding research programmes, and the Lifetime Achievement Award for individuals who have shown a lifelong commitment to excellence and leadership in the field.

Application for the UEG Research Prize is open until June 3, 2013
