Awards & Grants

Awards & grants

Each year we present a range of prizes, travel grants and scholarships to foster basic and clinical research.

Some of these enable young gastroenterologists to come to UEG Week, while others acknowledge exceptional scientific work.

The most prestigious prizes are the UEG Research Prize, worth € 100,000, for the most outstanding research programme, and the Lifetime Achievement Award for individuals who have shown a lifelong commitment to excellence and leadership in the field.
