We award excellence in gastroenterology research.

UEG donates € 100,000 to a researcher who has achieved the highest level of recognition for their research.

The awardee will receive this most prestigious prize in European gastroenterology and hepatology during the Plenary Session of UEG Week Berlin, where the awardee will have the opportunity to deliver an account of his work. The prize money enables the researcher to support financing future research activities.
