Congratulations to Cisca Wijmenga, Research Prize Awardee 2018!

Cisca Wijmenga is awarded the distinguished UEG Research Prize 2018 for her outstanding project “A celiac mucosal barrier-on-chip model to investigate its role in initiation of celiac disease”. She is currently holding the position of Lodewijk Sandkuijl Endowed Chair and Professor of Human Genetics at the University Medical Centre Groningen (UMCG) in the Netherlands.
