How to get to the venue
The access to UEG Week 2020 is via Entrance K at RAI Amsterdam.
We ask all of our visitors to think of the environment and use public transport wherever possible.
Railway station Amsterdam RAI is 300 metres from the RAI and has direct connection with Duivendrecht, Amsterdam Amstel, Amsterdam Zuid and Schiphol railwaystations, which are linked to the international InterCity network. Follow the signs RAI Amsterdam when you leave the station.
By tram, metro and bus
Tram 4 runs between the centre of Amsterdam, Amsterdam Central and the RAI (stop at Europaplein). Metro 52 will take you from Amsterdam Centraal Station or Station Zuid to RAI Amsterdam. You get off the metro at the Europaplein Station and exit in front of the main entrance. Metro 50 runs between Amsterdam Sloterdijk and Gein and stops at Station Amsterdam RAI. From Station Amstel you can reach the venue by metro 51 (Station Amsterdam RAI), bus 62 (stop Europaplein) or bus 65 (stop Scheldeplein).
The UEG Week registration partner will be pleased to send a formal invitation letter to everybody that is requesting one and has already registered and paid for UEG Week. It is understood that such an invitation is intended to help potential delegates to raise funds or to obtain a visa. This does not imply a commitment from UEG to provide any financial support. Invitation letters can be requested in the online registration process (more to follow). The letters will be sent as email attachment. If an express delivery is required, the delegate shall order a courier at his/her own expense.
The entry formalities for The Netherlands vary according to the country of origin. For citizens from the European Economic Area (EU including Norway, Island) a valid identity card is sufficient. Visitors from other European Union member countries require a valid passport.

Payments will only be accepted in Euro.
The time zone in The Netherlands is Central European Time (CET), which is Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) +1 hour in winter and +2 hours in summer.
In October the average temperatures range from 7 to 15° C during the day in Amsterdam.
The voltage in The Netherlands is 230 Volts, 50 Hertz. Sockets meet European regulations and use the two-round pin system.
RAI Amsterdam features a silent room.
UEG Week offers a room for parents with kids, equipped with toys and necessities for feeding and hygiene.
Due to compliance rules minors are not allowed in session halls and exhibition areas. Therefore the Parents Room is located in the main entrance area of UEG Week where children are allowed to stay accompanied by an adult.
