Continuing Medical Education
UEG Week Vienna 2018, Austria, October 20–24, 2018, has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 31 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.
The UEG Week Postgraduate Teaching Programme (Saturday – Sunday) is part of UEG Week Vienna 2018. A maximum of 12 European CME credits can be obtained.
How to claim your certificates for UEG Week 2018
All congress certificates will be available starting Wednesday, October 24, after UEG Week concludes. Delegates can claim their CME credits and certificate of attendance online via myUEG. Follow these steps to conveniently download your certificates:
- On the website: Sign in with your myUEG credentials and navigate to CME Certificates & Evaluation.
In the app: Select myUEG and then navigate to CME Certificates & Evaluation.
- Kindly complete the evaluation form.
- After submitting the evaluation, your certificates will be available for download.
Postgraduate Teaching delegates who attend their third year of the curriculum can access their certification the same way.
Information for delegates from the US and Canada
Through an agreement between the European Union of Medical Specialists and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Information on the process to convert EACCME® credit to AMA credit can be found at www.ama-assn.org/go/internationalcme.
Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognized by the UEMS-EACCME® for ECMEC credits are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
