Women in GI

Making equality a reality.

For the first time, we offered a special women networking event at UEG Week Barcelona 2019. The network is dedicated to enable female gastroenterology and surgical trainees, junior scientists and other GI health care professionals to communicate with their peers and seniors to network, explore professional opportunities and establish contacts for future collaborations.

Make sure to use and follow #UEGWomeninGI on social media in order to connect with your peers and get latest information.

Women in GI - making equality a reality networking event

150 predominantly female guests met at UEG´s first “Women in GI – making equality a reality” networking event at UEG Week Barcelona 2019 to meet peers and female role models in GI. It was a successful start to UEG´s annual event that gives Women in GI an opportunity to meet, share their experiences, challenges and achievements and to benefit from each other.
